JEN purchased the Dreyfus Property from a private foundation in December 2011 for approximately $10 million. The property was fully zoned but required completion of a preliminary site plan to prepare the 652 approved units for sale. In addition to processing engineering plans JEN found replacement property for 60 acres of non-buildable conservation property, thereby creating additional saleable units. After receiving development approvals, JEN sold phase 1 of the property for $18 million in December 2012 and the balance for $10 million in March 2014.
